Dear friends and family,

On January 7th, Ellen, Steve, and their dog, Dave, evacuated their Pacific Palisades home along with their very basic essentials. Thankfully, they left their home safely and continue to remain safe. The Palisades has been home to Steve for over 50 years, and 30 years for Ellen. Each of them raised their families here, with countless memories in and around their home: from hosting their annual Latke parties, hosting Ellen’s daughter’s wedding, family barbecues with Steve’s two sons and his four grandchildren, and daily doggy walks in the Marquez neighborhood with friends on their block.

While their home miraculously is still standing, what’s left of their home is unlivable. As of now, they are unable to access any of their belongings. To support Steve and Ellen, we are asking for any contribution, big or small, to help them navigate this devastating situation.

Your generosity means everything. We are grateful to all our friends, family, and community who have checked in us on, and our hearts go out to all the families affected by the fire.
