I honestly don't know how to write this. With a pain that's hard to describe, we have to share that our Katie passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on September 28, 2025.

Katie was only 41, and losing her has completely blindsided all of us. She was the best: funny, kind, smart, and a person with a warm, beautiful heart that touched everyone she met. We're all grieving, but the hardest loss belongs to the person Katie loved most in the world: her 19-year-old daughter, Elle.

If you knew Katie, you know how much she lived for Elle. Elle was her everything, and Katie loved her daughter with everything she had.

Now, Elle is facing the impossible—not only dealing with the crushing grief of losing her mother but also the sudden, overwhelming reality of managing the funeral arrangements and figuring out her own financial stability. She needs to be able to focus on healing, not on worrying about how to pay for everything.

We're hoping to create an immediate financial safety net for Elle during this impossible transition.
