On January 6th, our beautiful baby girl Ella will undergo open-heart surgery to repair a congenital heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot. She will be almost six months old—an age when she should only be learning to laugh, reaching for toys, and discovering the world around her. Instead, she must face something no child should ever have to endure.
From the day she was born, Ella has been our little miracle. Her soft smiles, her tiny fingers wrapped around ours, the way she lights up when she hears our voices—she has brought more joy into our lives than we ever imagined. But behind her sweet, bright eyes is a heart working harder than it should. Knowing that her tiny chest will need to be opened so her heart can be repaired is a pain no parent is ever prepared to feel.
The doctors expect Ella will be in the hospital for about 10 days. As she recovers, we will be right by her side every moment—holding her hand, whispering to her, praying over her, and loving her through each step. We believe in her strength, but we also know this journey will test us emotionally, physically, and financially.
We are humbly asking for help to ease the burden of travel and food expenses during her hospital stay. This support allows us to focus solely on Ella, without worrying about the day-to-day necessities that quickly add up when you’re living in and out of a hospital.
If you’re able to give, please know that every single donation makes a difference. And if donating isn’t possible, sharing this page or sending prayers and love is just as meaningful. We truly feel the power of every kind word and every bit of support.
Thank you for surrounding our family—and especially our brave girl—with love, hope, and strength. Ella’s heart may need repairing, but she has already filled ours completely.
With all our love,
Ella’s Mom & Dad
