Ella's brother Jonah passed away on October 11th 2025. This has been a huge loss for Ella. Recently, she made the difficult decision to quit her job as a therapist, a job that requires a level of emotional availability that she didn't feel ready to provide her clients yet. She has been connecting with her community, going to grief counseling, playing guitar, and grieving Jonah through many birthdays and holidays.

Ella is doing the best she can, but still needs to pay her rent, groceries, care for her sweet dog, Huey, and do activities that make her happy. She is also anticipating needing to spend money on travel to visit family and pet care when she is away.
