Hi, my name is Ella, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and deep hope. My mom, Andrea, and I are in the midst of the most difficult chapter of our lives. We never imagined we’d be here, struggling to keep a roof over our heads and fighting to survive day by day. But here we are, and we need your help.

For years, we lived under the roof of someone who was supposed to protect us my stepfather. Instead, he betrayed and violated that trust in the most devastating way. I was sexually harassed by him, and the trauma of that experience is something I carry every day. Speaking up came with a cost. He was the sole financial provider in our home, and when the truth came out, he left and so did our financial stability.

Since then, my mom and I have been scraping by. She’s my rock, and we’re doing everything we can to survive and keep our happiness but We’ve turned to Grubhub deliveries just to afford the bare minimum: food, basic hygiene products, and to keep our phones on so we can continue working. Despite our efforts, we are now facing eviction, with no clear place to go next.
