Support Elizabeth's Robotics Team Journey

Hi Friends and Family,

I am truly proud of my daughter Elizabeth, and the robotics team, Mechannibalism, team number 34543M, with Top Tier Robotics, a non-profit organization from Plymouth, Indiana. Not only did they make it to Worlds, winning the Design Award, but they won State on the 22nd of March. With this, the team qualified to represent at Worlds in May at the VEX Robotics World Championship to be held in Dallas, Texas, at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center from May 9th - 11th.

Here is my dilemma. I want not only to be able to send her to the World Competition, but I would like our little family to go and support her and the team for this HUGE accomplishment. I am asking anyone who knows Elizabeth, our family, or me to help get us there.

Anything you can contribute will help us with airfare, hotel expenses, and meals while we are at Worlds, etc. The team estimates that it will cost each student $2130.00 for their airfare, transportation to the event, the event registration fees, and the hotel stay.

The team has a GoFundMe set up to support the team, so I have changed this fundraiser to only include what we are trying to raise to allow us to attend as a family.

The team fundraiser is short what Elizabeth needs by $515.00 plus the cost of airfare. Our goal is to raise enough money to pay for her remaining costs and purchase airfare for the four of us to attend together as a family.

Please know, it is hard for me to ask this. I have already been putting money aside to send Elizabeth on a once-in-a-lifetime trip with her sophomore class in 2026 to Switzerland, Italy, France, and Spain. I have been making monthly payments towards this trip since October 2024.

FYI - GoFundMe only charges a fee for money donated if using a credit/debit card, due to the credit card fees. Donations provided through PayPal, etc., go to support Elizabeth 100%.
