Elizabeth went into the ER on October 22nd for what seemed like a routine gall bladder flare up, but it quickly turned into a series of baffling complications. During her surgery, doctors discovered a blockage caused by a gall stone stuck in her bile duct, which required another procedure. It took five attempts to remove the stone, and unfortunately, this led to pancreatitis.
Since then, Elizabeth has spent over 40 days in the hospital, facing ongoing complications from pancreatitis. She has undergone multiple CT scans, MRIs, and countless tests as her medical team works tirelessly to find ways to ease her symptoms. There is still no confirmed date for her discharge, and each day brings new challenges.
We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support Elizabeth has already received. Many have generously offered financial help, and we invite you to support Elizabeth’s recovery by donating to this fundraiser. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference as she continues her fight to get well. Feel free to donate through Venmo as well: @lizwash_
