My cousin, Elizabeth Katara Esparta, is a healthy 26-year-old single mother with a 4-year-old daughter. While on her way to work, one of her lungs collapsed out of the blue for no apparent reason. This has left her hospitalized in the ICU for a week with two tubes in her chest attached to her lung. She is unable to work or pay her bills.
