Support Elizabeth Markham's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
We ask for prayers and support for our beloved mother, Elizabeth Markham.
In August, our mother fell while attending a church conference. Upon being admitted to the hospital, it was discovered that she had bleeding on top of her brain. In September, she had surgery to remove the blood from her brain. Unfortunately, there were complications. She was put into an induced coma for several weeks while the doctors treated her. The doctors were not sure if she would ever wake up. It wasn't until weeks later that Elizabeth finally opened her eyes.
Our mother was moved to a long-term acute care center where she continues to recover. However, she will require months (potentially years) of intense therapy and medical treatment. She currently requires 24/7 care.
All donations will help the family with medical bills, including out-of-pocket expenses associated with her care. The first 3 months are the most critical for her recovery. We want to be able to have access to the best care possible for our Mom. Your donation will help us to provide that.
We ask for continued prayers and support for Elizabeth and her family. I thank you for reading this, as well as for your support.
Warmly,
Jackie Markham
