Support Elizabeth's Journey to Mental Health Recovery
Donation protected
We are Annie and Liz, Faith Jordan's life-long friends and "aunts" to her children, Abbie, Elizabeth (EB), and Charlie.
As most of you know, Faith and her daughters have been through – and overcome – many hardships over the past few years. Faith has worked tirelessly as a single mom to provide every possible opportunity for her girls throughout their lives, at times even sacrificing her own well-being to ensure the girls get everything they need. Through it all, she has shown incredible strength by relying on loved ones, her church, and her strong faith in God for support. The Jordan girls are faithful, strong, courageous, and generous women.
Faith’s middle daughter EB is a bright, resilient young lady who will be entering high school in the fall. She has been bravely battling multiple mental health challenges for years, and has received the continued guidance and care of a team of mental health professionals to help her. Despite her resilience and the unwavering support of her family, EB now needs long-term inpatient care to keep her safe and help her begin truly healing.
While insurance covers a portion of her inpatient stay, the coinsurance costs are significant — 40% out of pocket. As a result, Faith is now facing $7,500 in expenses to cover the medical costs, in addition to travel and lodging expenses required to visit and support EB during her stay. EB will immediately be going to a 1-3 month facility while Faith works with the school district to move her to a 12 month facility.
This is a critical time, and EB's family is doing everything they can to be there for her emotionally and financially — but they can’t do it alone. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward:
• Covering the coinsurance costs of EB's treatment
• Helping her family travel and stay near the facility to visit her
• Ensuring EB gets the chance to focus fully on healing
Mental health care is essential health care, and no family should have to carry this burden alone. Please consider helping however you can — with a donation, a share, or even a kind word of support.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
