Support Elizabeth Close's Brain Tumour Healing Journey
Donation protected
We come to you with heavy hearts and a sense of urgency to support our dear friend and collaborating artist, Elizabeth Close. Elizabeth is a Pitjantjatjara and Yankunytjatjara multi-disciplinary Visual Artist, whose vibrant and powerful artworks have graced many Reconciliation Action Plans, murals and interiors.
Recently, Elizabeth received the devastating news of a brain tumour located on her frontal lobe. The diagnosis has shaken her world, as well as the lives of her husband and three beautiful children. As she prepares for surgery, the road ahead is daunting.
In the coming months, Elizabeth will need to focus all her energy on her healing journey, leaving her unable to work. This sudden loss of income adds an extra layer of stress and worry during an already challenging time.
Here at Ochre Dawn, we are determined to rally around Elizabeth and her family during this difficult period. We will be supporting her by selling some of her original and reproduction artworks, but we know that alone won't be enough to alleviate the financial burden they are facing.
That's why we've launched this GoFundMe campaign. Every dollar raised will go directly to Elizabeth to help cover her medical expenses, household bills, and other essentials while she focuses on her recovery.
We know that many of you have been touched by Elizabeth's art and her spirit. Now is the time to come together and show our support in any way we can. Your generosity, whether through a donation or by sharing this campaign, will make a world of difference to Elizabeth and her family.
Thank you for your kindness and compassion.
