My big sister Eliza Neuman has been diagnosed with Uterine Leiomyosarcoma, a rare aggressive cancer. After months of being horribly weak and in pain and getting iron and blood transfusions, her doctors noticed her uterus was far too large and found what they thought were fibroids. During her hysterectomy, growths up to 2 lbs were found and later found to be Leiomyosarcomas. This is devastating news to all who love her and a tragedy she did not deserve. Eliza's life has not always been an easy one, and now faced with this news, she is working hard to remain positive and keep "surviving purely for the spite of it"
Not only is she faced with having to undergo a few surgeries and treatments, now she is faced with the costs that go along with that, as well as the added cost of not being able to work while recovering. I want her to fight and win and get all the help that she needs. That's where you might come in. Please consider donating to help her and her husband Ken pay for all that comes along with this scary cancer diagnosis if you can. If you can't, please consider sending along a positive message for her or sharing her story.
