Elissa has been in a contentious and heartbreaking custody battle for over 3 years. It has lasted so long because of how hard she has fought to protect her children. Her legal fees at this point are astronomical.
Throughout this experience, she has been working a full-time job while also being a single mom to her 3 kids, one who has recently had serious medical difficulties. She has been doing everything possible to cut back on expenses and save money.
As of December 15th, the court ruled that she and her three children must move out of their home by the end of January. Additionally she must make a large payment on her mortgage that is unfortunately past due. The housing market is not good right now and Elissa is working hard to find a suitable place to live that is safe and within her budget.
To make the overdue mortgage payment, put a deposit on a new home, and navigate the expenses of moving, Elissa and the children really need our help. She is in this crisis through no fault of her own and has worked tirelessly to do what is best for her family.
