Support Elisha, Lionheart Therapist, Breast Cancer Battle

Elisha Johnson, one of our amazing therapists with Lionheart Trauma Support Services, has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. To know Elisha is to know that she is a place of warmth, peace, encouragement, and strong faith in God. I can say with certainty that both staff and clients adore and value her.

Elisha is scheduled to have a double mastectomy in early December. After her surgery, she will have a clearer picture of whether she will be required to do chemotherapy and radiation or just radiation. In the next 6 months to a year, she will most likely have two additional surgeries following the double mastectomy.

Lionheart cannot do this alone as Elisha faces mental, emotional, and financial hardships as she recovers from surgery and battles breast cancer. Please join us in supporting Elisha. She will be unable to work initially for about 6-8 weeks. The financial support you provide will go directly to Elisha, where she will use the funds to cover medical expenses, household bills, and daily living needs. This will allow her to focus on recovery.
