Hello friends, family, and even those who may not know us personally,

We are starting this GoFundMe for one of the strongest and bravest women I know—my sister-in-law, Elisha Rosenkranz.

On Saturday, August 29, 2026, Elisha’s husband, Brent Rosenkranz, was one of three hikers tragically killed in the flash flood at the Grand Canyon. There are no words that can truly express the heartbreak of losing a husband, a father, a son, a brother, and a friend in such a sudden and devastating way.

Right now, Elisha and her three boys are facing a life they never imagined they would have to live—learning how to move forward without Brent by their side.

We are asking our friends, family, neighbors, and anyone whose heart is moved by their story to come alongside this family during this incredibly difficult time. Our hope is to help ease some of the financial burden so Elisha can focus on her boys, grieve, and begin navigating this new reality without having to carry every financial responsibility at the same time.

Funds raised will help with funeral and memorial expenses, bringing Brent home to Texas from the Grand Canyon, travel and reunification expenses, and the immediate needs of Elisha and her boys as they begin this long journey ahead.
