Support Elise's Fight Against Breast Cancer
Donation protected
We are reaching out on behalf of Elise, who is facing one of the most difficult seasons of her life. She was recently diagnosed with an aggressive and fast growing breast cancer that has spread to her lymph nodes. Her treatment will be beginning immediately. As she prepares for surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, hormone therapy, and targeted drug therapy, the emotional, physical, and financial weight of this journey is already becoming very real.
Elise is a devoted wife, fantastic baker, lover of all things outdoors, and loving mother to four beautiful children—ages 11, 9, 7, and 6. She is the heart of their home and a woman of deep faith who is trusting Jesus Christ every step of the way. Even in the face of fear and uncertainty, her hope remains anchored in God’s promises, and she continues to walk forward with courage, grace, and strength that can only come from Him.
Due to the intensity of her treatment plan, she will need to step away from work. She will need at least 6 weeks off after surgery, and then intermittent time off over the following 9 months for chemo and radiation. The hormone therapy and targeted drug therapy will last years. Her husband will also need to take unpaid time off to care for her and their children. While they are still navigating the details of what this will mean financially, they know the months ahead will bring increased expenses—from medical bills to childcare, transportation, and the day-to-day needs of a young family. The estimated total of costs that will be accruing due to Elise and Zac's altered work and medical bills is around $20,000.
We are asking for your support—whether through prayer, donation, or simply sharing this campaign—to come alongside this family as they walk through this valley. Every gift, no matter the size, will help relieve some of the financial pressure, allowing them to focus on healing and on the faithful God who walks with them through every step.
Let’s be the hands and feet of Jesus and surround Elise and her family with love, encouragement, and practical support.
