My name is Kayla McCready. I am starting this GoFundMe to try to help my dear friends with some expenses for after their son Carson is born. He is due between Feb 28 and March 3.

Elise is a part-time therapist and her husband Corey is a PTA. Neither of them have any type of "maternity" or family leave. They have two daughters and are very excited to add a baby boy to the family. They both live their lives taking care of other people. Elise told me she was only going to be able to take a week off after the baby was born. As a mother of 3 myself, I told her she was definitely going to "need" more time than that!
