! Update…
It’s been a bit of a “some kind of” journey lately, but I'm grateful for all the love and support.
- Endoscopy results: no more ulcer, but they did have to dilate my esophagus. Now working on healing the inflammation in my stomach.
- Had first Orthopedic doctor appointment yesterday : first step is a steroid injection for my neck pain in about a month. Prayers appreciated that it will work and I won’t have a reaction to the steroids.!✨✨
- I've been dealing with anemia, and my first iron infusion didn't go so well (had an allergic reaction ). Now trying to boost my iron levels with food and slow-release supplements - my stomach doesn’t do too well with it but doing the best I can.
This can cause me to be out of breath easily, which I can’t wait to reclaim grateful for the three clients that I do have for their understanding and my family and people that I’m around understanding that I can’t do things like I used to right now. Giving me hugs and love during this time.
- New addition: sleep apnea. Waiting to see a specialist.
- Interstitial cystitis (bladder inflammation) is flaring up due to stress .
-neurologist appointment is March 11. Prayers for that it’s been a six month wait.
!!!!Chiropractic care has been a game-changer for pain management, and I'm grateful for everyone's support. I wouldn’t be able to get through the week without it.
Some days it’s hard just to keep my head up other days are better. The waking up and never knowing is a great surrender. I think we all know when we have to surrender some things there’s always the acceptance and then some days there’s the resistance.. taking it one step at a time. The funds have helped with living expenses and chiropractic care, relieving financial stress. This part has really helped being at this time in my life or should I say season there’s a lot of physical mental and emotional stress that I’m working out with help of my therapist, physical therapist and of course G✨d. Thank you Angels!
As an individual and a mother it's tough to not be able to work and do things .. no like I used to(if you know me know how active I like to be) but I'm grateful for this community and the support. Thanks to everyone who's reached out, prayed, and donated. Your kindness means the world♥️
I'm looking forward to getting through this! Which I’m declaring, I will! Learning a lot about my body what’s connected what I need to work on emotionally, mentally, spiritually, physically.. different way of eating and just being as honest as I can with myself and others about the reality of what it is versus what I want to be right now.
It’s still vulnerable to share, but I know I’m supposed to….because my heart is telling me too, and I believe God is leading me to.
Loneliness and discouragement are what I have come up against the most during all of this… sharing out loud asking for help breaks that cycle again and again .
Thank you for taking the time to read this, thank you for support and above else. I hope you’re doing well and if not, I hope you have a support system. So much love to all of you. ✌️

————————————————————————-
In the beginning of last June, I started experiencing neck twitches and spasms, followed by gastrointestinal issues and an ulcer. Over time, my symptoms worsened to include body spasms, severe neck pain, and convulsions, which led to multiple emergency room visits. MRIs revealed degenerative neck disease with arthritis and two bulging discs. These issues have caused pain radiating down my arms, up my neck, through my ears, and a lot of times through the back of my head, affecting my daily life and ability to work. The ongoing pain and uncertainty have also caused significant mental stress and insomnia, which I am working hard to unload. We lost our place and had to move back in with my parents for support due to these health challenges. I am currently waiting to see a neurologist and an orthopedic doctor, and I have a GI procedure scheduled. Recently, my dentist found a bump in my mouth that may require further testing not covered by insurance.
All of my major medical care is covered by insurance, but I am seeking help for chiropractic care, which is not covered. My chiropractor recommends three visits a week for deeper healing, but I can only afford one. I also need funds for a dental x-ray to check a possible tumor or cyst, which is not covered by insurance. The funds will help me access the care I need to manage my pain and continue my healing journey.
My unhealthy pattern has been not asking for help when I need it, and this is me breaking that. I have never felt so vulnerable and out of touch with myself, relying on others and never knowing what each day will bring. This is another step in my healing journey—opening up and sharing the reality of chronic pain, and asking for help when I need it most. I appreciate anyone who has taken the time to read this. I miss you all, and even writing this makes me emotional, but I know I need to reach out. Thank you for being a part of my life. Anything you can offer, I appreciate—even prayers and all the healing thoughts possible. I’m a believer in miracles and I believe that they come in different ways. Love y’all and thank you for loving me.
