She’s known as the Butcher. He’s sworn to heal. They’re on opposite sides of an impossible war - and they fall in love anyway.

‘Eliphany’ is a fantasy romance short film about two sworn enemies who fall in love during a war where love itself is treason.

Set in a medieval realm, ‘Eliphany’ follows Rykmeht, the terrifying Butcher of The Shrikes and Helias, a reluctant healer on the side of The Locusts. When their paths cross, what begins as an unlikely encounter turns into something far more dangerous: understanding, vulnerability, and connection in a world that punishes all three. As their bond grows, they begin to question everything: duty, identity, and the lives they’ve been told to live. ‘Eliphany’ is about choosing to become who you want to be, even when it costs you everything you’ve ever known.

This story grew out of my own experiences with vulnerability, longing for connection, and finding the courage to step away from paths that no longer felt like my own. Through fantasy, I’m able to externalize those emotions, turning something internal into a world you can see and feel.

What makes ‘Eliphany’ truly special is how it will be filmed.

We will be shooting this project over the course of an entire year, capturing each chapter of this story in a different season, from summer through spring. Instead of recreating seasonal change artificially, we’re letting the natural world shape the film in real time.

Filmed across the waterfalls and landscapes of Tennessee, the environment becomes a living part of the story, mirroring the evolution of the characters and their relationship.

We have also created our very own con-lang for this story, which is an impressive feat in itself.

We know this is ambitious, but it’s also what will make this film feel authentic, immersive, and unlike anything else.
