Support Elior Klein's Dad's Cancer Battle

Hello, I’m Elior Klein and have been taken aback since my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic non-small cell lung cancer in fall of 2024, which has since metastasized to his right femur and brain. 

       I am devastated to share that my dad’s diagnosis is now endstage metastatic lung cancer, and he is now bedridden. The metastasis in the brain has caused multiple strokes and brain bleeds and causes numerous cognitive deficits in motor skills, memory, speech and mental status. He also has been given a diagnosis of severe congestive heart failure, and suffered a heart attack recently. Due to the frailty of his body, he does not qualify for any procedures or surgeries, unfortunately. My mom has had to stop work to care for my dad 24-7, as well as hire caregivers. 

       He continues to receive costly immunotherapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, Palliative care, and many specialists that address his many medical needs. We have a full medical equipment set up in our living room and medical transport is the only way he can get to appointments.

      He is a kind hearted, brilliant, hilarious man, a loving husband , teacher, and father of two.
