I wanted to share what’s been going on recently. A few days ago, my husband Elijah was in an accident. He was hit by a car while leaving work and ended up with injuries that require surgery. The doctor says he’ll need to have the procedure soon, and he’ll have to take some time off work to recover.

Unfortunately, Elijah doesn’t have health insurance right now, so the surgery and time off are going to be a big financial strain for us. We’re hoping to raise around $5,000 to help cover some of the cost of the procedure and the lost income while he heals.

We’re not the type to ask for help, but this situation has really put us in a tough spot. Any support, no matter how small, would mean so much to us as we get through this and focus on his recovery.
