Support Elijah's Rugby Dream and Journey Home

Hello everyone, my name is Elijah Brizendine, and I'm reaching out for your help to get back home. In August 2024, I signed with a Rugby Club near London, England, to pursue my dream of advancing my rugby career. When I signed, the club promised to provide a job, help with flights, and ensure I'd be "looked after." Unfortunately, that was not the case. There was no job, no assistance with a flight home, and I was not taken care of.

As a result, I exhausted all my savings trying to support myself and survive in a foreign country. There came a point when the wives and girlfriends of other players started making meals for me because they discovered I had no money for food. It was then I decided I had to leave. Since then, I've played for a few teams that have tried to help me recover financially, but it wasn't enough to undo the damage caused by my first club. Now, I am unable to afford a flight back home.

In an unexpected turn of events, I've been given an incredible opportunity to go on tour this summer with a few 7s programs in Florida and Portugal. Unfortunately, these opportunities are financially out of reach for me. Therefore, I am creating this GoFundMe to help cover some of these expenses, including a flight home and the tours.
