Elijah is a 15 year old in his sophomore year at Alta High. This weekend he experienced a scary medical emergency that resulted in a diagnosis of T-Cell lymphoblastic lymphoma. He is in the ICU at Primary Children's Hospital with a large mass in his chest. So far he has endured needle biopsies (seven!!) and PICC line placement without any sedation due to the position of the

mass, and he has done amazingly. Today he and his family received a two and a half year treatment plan that will be very intense and difficult. He will be in the hospital more often than not during the next several months.

Elijah is the second of four kids in his wonderful family and both his parents, Shannon and Mac, currently work. They will be needing extensive time off to meet his needs as well as those of his siblings. As Shannon’s closest friends we are starting this GoFundMe to help support Elijah’s family with medical bills, gas needs, groceries and anything else they may need. There is a very long road ahead and we want to ease the burden any way we can.
