Help Elijah Stay in School – Future Engineer at ASU Needs Your Support

Hi friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

I’m reaching out to share the story of Elijah, a bright and hard-working student who has chosen Arizona State University to pursue his dream of becoming a Mechanical Engineer.

Elijah has always been passionate about solving problems, building things from scratch, and making the world work better through innovation. He’s already started the admission process for ASU and started preparing to move into the dorm — ready to start the road of independence — but now he’s facing a huge barrier: we just discovered on August 1st that he doesn’t qualify for enough financial aid to cover tuition due to changes in how financial aid is determined, along with the max amount one is allowed to receive, and the inability to establish a trusted co-signer for private loans. (I, Elijah's mother, don't qualify due to the amount of student loans already in my name).

This has left him with a tough choice: drop out or reach out.

What We’re Raising Funds For:

    •    Tuition for the upcoming semester at ASU

    •    Books, lab materials, and supplies for engineering courses

    •    Room & Board as Elijah does not have a car

Elijah will be working part-time to support himself, but tuition and college expenses are too much to carry alone — and he’s at risk of having to pause or end his education because of it.

He’s not just a student — he’s a future engineer who wants to make a difference in his field and his community. He’s determined, humble, and grateful for every opportunity. He’s not asking for a handout — he’s asking for a lifeline to continue what he started.
