Support Elijah's Battle Against Cancer

This winter, my nephew, Elijah, became very sick. After many doctor's appointments, it was determined Elijah had some form of cancer, likely a lymphoma. He was recommended for exploratory surgery to remove his infected lymph nodes, biopsy them, and see where and how far the cancer had spread. With his symptoms, we were bracing for the worst. By the grace of God, the surgeon was able to remove all of that cancer. HOWEVER, this week, after speaking with the oncologist, his pathology report showed that he actually has two different types of cancers. One is still present, and it's not yet clear where it originated. So, his diagnosis and treatment continue.

In short, I am setting this up because Kelly and Gabe's insurance does not cover everything. Their medical bills are stacking up high. At the same time Elijah was becoming very sick, Kelly gave birth to her fourth baby, a beautiful girl, and suffered from full-blown postpartum eclampsia two weeks later. She has thrown 7 clots and needed a lot of medical care over the past 3 months. Now they are staring down what could be a lengthy diagnosis and treatment for Elijah.

Humbly, I am asking if you are willing and able if you'd help make this very difficult season a little bit lighter on them financially. We'd also covet your prayers for Elijah.

Elijah is the sun-shiniest 5-year-old. He's tender and kind and loves his 3 siblings. He loves his Papa so much he sometimes insists on being called "Bob" (his Papa's name) He's already overcome many obstacles and developmental delays. He wants to be a superhero when he grows up like Spiderman... or his Uncle Mike (a deputy sheriff). While we struggle to understand why things as awful as pediatric cancer have to exist, we are trusting God is making an overcomer and writing a testimony over this wonderful boy's life.
