Support Elijah Solo's Family for a Better Home

This fundraiser is for the family of the talented Zambian guitarist Elijah Solo. Recently, he has garnered a lot of attention on Instagram videos of him and his drum-playing brother, Jojo, amassing 296,000 followers on Instagram (@elijahsolo1). Despite his internet fame, he is really struggling financially. In a recent video call I had with the young guitarist, I saw first-hand how his living conditions were, and they were beyond poor. He does not even have a mattress or pillows to sleep on, merely a metal bed frame. Part of the reason behind this poverty, is that men must retire at 60 where Elijah lives. Because of the age of Elijah's father, they are currently not being supported by any income. I wanted to make this fundraiser so Elijah's family can have the opportunity to move into a nicer home, and so he will be able to continue making videos for his fans.
