My son Elias is 13 years old and was born with congenital heart defects, including mitral valve stenosis and coarctation of the aorta. Throughout his life, he has faced many medical challenges, and now he needs surgery to repair both his mitral valve and the coarctation of the aorta. This is a difficult time for our family, and we are doing everything we can to support Elias as he prepares for this important procedure.

While the hotel stay before surgery is covered, we will need help with the costs of getting to and from the hospital and covering food expenses while we are there. Taxi rides between the hotel and hospital, as well as daily meals, will add up quickly during Elias’s surgery and recovery. Being able to focus on Elias’s health without worrying about these extra expenses would mean so much to us.
