Support Elias in His Healing Journey

In April 2023, our dear friend Elias was in a head-on car collision while driving home from work. A large truck turned in front of him while he was driving down a local highway, leaving him no time to break before hitting the truck head-on. Elias’ car was totaled, and he has been left with a variety of debilitating injuries to his spine, back, nerves, his right side, along with PTSD, chronic pain and sleep challenges. Not only was the truck driver at fault, but he was also underinsured.

As a beloved international yoga teacher, trainer, athlete, and dedicated caregiver of others, Elias has tragically been unable to work for over a year. Those of you lucky enough to have benefitted from his love and generosity—either as a teacher, mentor or friend—know how devastating this is for him; it’s his passion and life’s work. In addition, he has drained his life savings paying for his therapies, living expenses and a replacement car over the last year. His therapies alone total upwards of $2,000 per month. While these therapies have been vital to Elias' healing, they come at a huge cost, with more ongoing care needed.

If you saw Elias, you wouldn't see his injuries, but he is unable to use his body like he did before and he has ongoing pain and instability throughout his body and nervous system. He is unsure he will ever be able to do the same work he did in the past. As he presently moves toward a limited amount of work, he hopes to find a way to reclaim his life, his work and his well-being.

Any donations will be used to support Elias' ongoing care, including therapy for PTSD, chiropractic, craniosacral, myo-fascial release and more. We pray that he may reclaim his well-being and find stasis again. It has been a stressful, painful and uncertain time for both he and his wife, Janine. Your donation matters more than you know.
