Elias is my only brother and a proud US Army veteran who served two tours in Iraq. He has always been the kind of person who tries to take care of things himself, rarely asking for help. I only learned about his cancer diagnosis when he started chemotherapy—he wanted to protect our family from worry and handle it on his own. Unfortunately, the first round of treatment didn’t work, and now his doctors have started a second round of chemo and added radiation. The cancer began in his stomach and has since spread to his liver, pancreas, and intestine, making this an especially challenging fight for him.
Since October 2025, Elias hasn’t been able to work. He finally reached out to me for help, but the financial burden is more than I can manage alone. He’s behind on several bills, and I’m worried he’s also late on his mortgage. It’s hard to see someone so strong and independent face such overwhelming challenges, and I want to do everything I can to support him.
This time of year is especially hard for us, as it will be ten years on the 22nd since we lost our dad. Facing Elias’s illness while remembering our father’s passing has been incredibly difficult for our family.
Thank you for supporting Elias during this difficult time. Your kindness and generosity will help him focus on his treatment and recovery, and it means the world to both of us.
