Support Elianna's Family after Tragic Daycare Incident
Donation protected
Gone too early...our sweet baby girl, Elianna.
Dear family and friends, it is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the sudden passing of Elianna, also known as Eli, following a tragic incident that occured while she was at the daycare on May 23,2025. The family, most especially Eli's parents has still lots of questions in their minds that has still left unanswered because of the ongoing investigation. Eli was brought to the Children's Hospital Emergency and was later put in PICU. Eli, our brave little girl, gave our family a fighting chance while she was in the hospital. Eli was already scheduled to be baptized in June, but due to unforeseen circumstances, she got an early baptism from a reverend at the PICU. We would like to extend our thank you's to the doctors, nurses and priests who aided our family during a very difficult situation.
Sadly, Eli was pronounced brain dead on May 27th and passed away on May 28, 2025.
Eli just turned one year old last Feb. and is only 15 months old when she passed away.
No one could ever imagine how this happy baby girl during drop off, would go through something this horrible through the hands of the people who her parent's trusted to take care of her. Eli was a bubbly, kind, smart & sweet baby girl. She lights up the room everywhere she goes. Her contagious smiles and laughs is one that could make your heart warm and fill it with joy.
Eli is a loving daughter to her parents, Smeetah and CJ. And this loss has left an unimaginable void in not only their hearts but on their lives.
In the wake of this tragedy, Smeetah/CJ now faces a difficult reality of burying their first kid.
We are creating this GoFundMe campaign to help alleviate the immediate and future financial burdens they will face. These funds will go towards:
- funeral and memorial expenses
- legal fees for ongoing investigation
No amount is too small to make a difference in the lives of this grieving family. Your generous contribution will provide much-needed support and allow Smeetah and CJ to focus on grieving during this incredibly painful period.
Please keep Smeetah, CJ and all of Eli's
loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for your kindness and support. Please share this campaign widely within your networks.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Nnika Marie Bacud Podador
