Hello! My name is Eli. I recently felt spiritually led to join a mission trip this summer.
This started when I was listening to the founder of Graceful Warrior Project, Kelly Bartlett, talk about all of the freaking amazing work that her organization is doing for the Kingdom. She has many outreaches in different countries, but this trip is about Tanzania, Africa. Graceful Warrior Project is known for building safe-houses for women, where rape statistics are highest. They plant gardens for food and to keep them sustainable. Kelly also teaches many of the women self-defense, in an additional effort to combat gender inequalities in third-world countries.
One of my specific skillsets on this trip will be videography and documentation. I want to encapsulate the work of this organization for others to see and join in. So expect an awesome recap video when we get back to show off all of the work God is doing. I believe that God is seriously working through this ministry, and I cannot wait to join in on it.
