Support Eli Lopez's Fight Against Leukemia
Donation protected
UPDATE: As of June 22, 2025, Eli is half way through his chemo treatment. On Friday June 20th, we did receive the news that Eli will need a bone marrow transplant. We are praying his brother Joshua will be a match. Eli will be getting another biopsy after his 4th chemo round and if his labs look okay he will be going home for about 3 weeks. Eli will have to come back to UCLA (or maybe somewhere closer to home) for the transplant. His transplant will happen around August. He will be in the hospital an additional 100 days after the transplant, so he can be monitored. So far, he has had a round of spinal chemo and will have another dose on June 23rd. And his regular chemo (every Tuesday). He’s going on his 3rd chemo round, and he has one more after that before going home. Please continue keeping him in your prayers as he goes through this journey. He is ready to go home for a few weeks to soak up as much family time as possible before going back to the hospital.
Any amount donated will go towards travel expenses as mentioned previously. His parents have taken time off work to go stay with him, so any amount donated helps a lot. Thank you
Eli Lopez is a 21 year old young man that was diagnosed with leukemia on 6/04/2025. The people that know Eli know he’s a smart, family/church oriented, humble young man. He recently passed his phlebotomy class and received his certificate in the mail. His goal is to become an RN someday. He was excited to start applying for a job as a phlebotomist, but unfortunately, he will have to postpone that for just a bit longer. He started at Adventist Health Twin Cities then he got moved to Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara & in the next few hours he will be transferred to UCLA to start his treatment. These funds will go towards all necessary expenses for his family since they will be traveling back and forth and for his treatment that his insurance won’t cover. He has a long way to go, but we know & believe God will get Eli & his family through this. Please keep the Lopez family in your prayers.
Any amount is greatly appreciated, even a share goes a long way.
