Last weekend, Eli and Logan decided to head to Destin for spring break, hoping for some fun and relaxation with their kiddos. Just a day after arriving, while racing the kids on the beach, Eli suddenly collapsed and had a seizure. The family’s world was truly turned upside down in an instant. After being admitted to the hospital, doctors discovered a mass on Eli’s right frontal lobe. He was quickly airlifted to Birmingham, Alabama, for specialized care. Every minute since has been filled with uncertainty and fear. He has undergone a biopsy and the team of neurologists, neurosurgeons, and neuro oncologists will be working together to create a treatment plan.

If you know Eli and Logan, you know how they show up for those around them—quietly without ever expecting anything in return. Right now they’re facing something incredibly overwhelming and need surrounded by the same support they usually give. The financial burden of unexpected medical bills, multi-state travel, lost wages, and continuing to cover the costs just to maintain life at home is going to be immense.
