Support Eli Cariño's Graduation Dream to Japan!

Hi, my name is Eli Cariño. I am graduating from high school on June 3rd. I am very grateful that I am on my path to become a firefighter for the San Diego Fire Department. In the Fall, I will begin my EMT program, which is the first requirement. I have been a Firefighter Cadet since I was 16 years old. About a month ago, I was named a Captain. I now help 10 other youths learn about our commitment to the communities we will serve.

My wish for my graduation, is to explore a country that is very interesting to me.

Japan.

It is a land of a very different culture. The Japanese are known to be respectful, take great care of their country (it’s very clean there), and their cuisine is delicious.

I also love that they are the creators of anime (Pokémon), Nintendo and Godzilla!

Hola, me llamo Eli Cariño. Me voy a graduar de la preparatoria el 3 de junio. Estoy muy agradecido de que estoy en camino para ser bombero con el Departamento de Bomberos de San Diego. El próximo semestre, iniciaré my programa de EMT (Técnico de Emergencias Médicas), lo cual es el primer requisito. He sido un Cadete de bombero desde los 16 años de edad. Hace como un mes, me nombraron Capitán. Ahora ayudo a otros 10 jóvenes a aprender sobre nuestro compromiso hacia las comunidades que serviremos.

Mi deseo para mi graduación es explorar un país que me parece muy interesante.

Japón.

Es un lugar con una cultura muy diferente. Se sabe que los japoneses son respetuosos, cuidan muy bien de su país (está muy limpio ahi) y su comida es deliciosa.
