Elfbar is my very sweet cat and she is very sick. Vets are not sure what is wrong, but just treatment of symptoms and diagnostics is estimated to be between 4000-5000, and the prognosis is not good even once a diagnosis is found. It is looking like it might not be a treatable condition. Her bone marrow is not regenerating blood cells and she is in need of blood transfusions just to get through the aggressive diagnostic tests.

If we reach our goal and are able to begin treatment, Elfbar will most likely be surrendered to a rescue that can provide any ongoing treatment, or worst case scenario, end of life care, that she may need. if we find a rescue or organization that is able to help get her treatment before our goal is met all donations up to that point will be forwarded to that organization.
