Support Eletha, Kai, and La Risha's Recovery

On May 7th, 2025, a quiet evening turned into a nightmare when a propane fire pit suddenly exploded, sending our three beloved sisters—Eletha Welch, Kai McDonald, and La Risha McDonald—to the hospital with serious injuries. What was supposed to be a peaceful gathering ended in trauma, pain, and uncertainty.

Each of these women is now facing a long road to recovery—physically, emotionally, and financially. With extensive burns, surgeries, and time in the hospital, their ability to work has been interrupted indefinitely. They are fighters, but even fighters need help.

We’re asking for your support to help cover their essential monthly expenses—rent, groceries, medical bills not covered by insurance, and basic necessities—until they’re back on their feet or able to access other support systems. Your donation will go directly toward easing the financial burden they’re facing during this incredibly difficult time.

No one expects something like this to happen. These women are daughters, friends, sisters, and community members—people who would give the shirts off their backs to help others. Now they need us.
