Hi, my name is Elena,

I’m reaching out during a challenging time in my life. Back in November, I underwent foot surgery that required me to take unexpected time off from work. Now, I’m facing two more procedures — one on my left foot, and another for a herniated disc in my spine that’s been causing significant pain and limiting my mobility.

Despite these setbacks, I continue to pursue my passion for helping others. I’m currently working as a CNA caring for children undergoing bone marrow transplants at the University of Minnesota’s campus in downtown Minneapolis. I’m also enrolled at Rasmussen University, working toward my nursing degree.

While I remain determined to heal and keep moving forward, I will need to be on bed rest for the next month or two following these procedures, which will make it difficult to manage my living expenses and bills. I’m starting this GoFundMe to ask for support during this recovery period — anything you can give will go directly toward helping me stay afloat while I focus on healing.
