Hi everyone,

We are Mariza and Melisa, and we are creating this GoFundMe on behalf of our niece, Elena, and her parents, Mayra and Carlos.

Recently, our family received heartbreaking news that Elena has two tumors one located in her cerebellum and another on her spine. She has already undergone surgery to remove the tumor in her brain, but she still has a long road ahead. Elena will be facing chemotherapy and radiation to treat the tumor on her spine. This news has completely turned our world upside down, and our family is preparing for a long and difficult journey.

Elena is a strong, bright, and loving 4-year-old who is truly the light of our family. She is a bubbly little girl who loves everything pink, makeup, cute dresses, and anything sparkly and of course, dinosaurs. Her joy, personality, and strength shine through even in the hardest moments.

While we are incredibly grateful for the medical team caring for her, the financial burden that comes with ongoing treatments, hospital stays, and time away from work is overwhelming.
