Help a New Mom Grow Her At-Home Studio and Build a Creative Life of Freedom

Hi, my name is Elena. I'm a photographer, creative storyteller, and most importantly, a new mom to a beautiful 7.5-month-old baby boy.

Motherhood inspired me to chase a dream I had put aside for years: to build a photography studio where women, mothers, and creatives can feel seen, strong, and beautiful - and where I can grow a meaningful career while still being present for my son.

Right now, I’ve set up a small photography studio inside my home. I’ve already invested over $10,000 of my own savings into equipment, props, editing tools, and the first pieces of this dream. I do it all myself - I’m the manager, director, stylist, hair and makeup artist, wardrobe curator, and of course, the photographer. After every session, I do professional retouching, which takes anywhere from 1 to 3 full days per shoot.

I often photograph people for free while I build my portfolio and creative voice - and I do it with my baby nearby or with the occasional help of a nanny or assistant when I can afford it.

Eventually, I want to be able to leave my day job and fully dedicate myself to this work. To make that happen, I’m actively working on launching a website, running Facebook ads, growing my social media, and building collaborations in my area.
