Support Elena & Her Injured Cat

Hi, my name is Addie Cook and I’ve created this fundraiser for one of my closest friends, Elena Ramiraz.

This past year has been incredibly difficult for Elena—she’s faced one setback after another, and it feels like life just won’t give her a break.

It all started with a car accident where she was hit by someone who was driving for DoorDash in a car that wasn’t even theirs. Because of the complicated insurance situation, Elena may never receive the compensation she deserves. She had no choice but to buy a used Subaru to get back on the road, but even that has been an uphill battle. The car has had numerous mechanical issues, draining her savings, and now it looks like she’ll need to sell it and start the car search all over again.

Just as things seemed like they might settle down, tragedy struck again. This week, Elena came home to find her 3-year-old cat in excruciating pain with a broken jaw. The vet bill came back with an overwhelming cost that she simply can’t afford on her own.

Elena is one of the kindest, most selfless people I know. She’s always there for her friends and family—giving, helping, and never asking for anything in return. Now, she’s the one who needs help. I’m creating this GoFundMe so she doesn’t have to go into debt trying to save her cat and so that, maybe, life can give her a little grace for once.
