Support Elegante's Staff After ICE Raid

Around noon on May 29th, Elegante's Restaurant in Honesdale, PA, was raided by ICE. Three of their employees—members of our Honesdale community, some of whom have been here for 30 years—were removed. Families that have called Honesdale home for many years have lost their main providers, and remaining staff lost their day's pay.

We don't know how long it will be for those who were taken to be returned home. We're raising funds to support lost wages and legal fees for the staff and families affected. To be clear, the business owners at Elegante's see their hard-working staff as family, and want all funds raised to go to the affected staff members; none of it will go to their business, nor themselves.
