Support Eleanor's Future Without Her Mother

Two weeks ago, we received life's wonderful gift, Eleanor, our first grandchild delivered to us by our oldest son, Andrew and his beautiful wife Hannah. In an unbelievable turn of events, that gift, a beautiful baby girl, is now without her mother. Hannah (29) unexpectedly collapsed and passed away yesterday, 9-26-2024, while preparing to take Ellie on the family's first nature walk together, Hannah's true passion in life. She leaves behind a devastated husband, a sweet baby girl, and an extended family that cannot fully comprehend this senseless loss.

This tragic loss leaves our son, a dedicated police officer, with the unparalleled task of continuing on and assuring their baby girl has every opportunity to grow, thrive, and become the woman whose mother she will only know through the memories of others.

We are asking family and friends, in lieu flowers, to help build a memorial fund to support any unexpected needs Andrew may have in the future, including the daunting task of creating a new normal life and providing for a family on a policeman's salary as a single parent. Any support provided will help Andrew and our beautiful Eleanor, as they begin this healing journey.
