Eleanor is a very special girl who has had her share of medical complications as a puppy, when she had just about every intestinal parasite that you could think of. She endured a life saving blood transfusion and made it through when no one thought she would. Now, literally overnight, she developed a cancerous mass at the base of her ear that must be removed as soon as possible in order to prevent the cancer from spreading. In order to remove the mass with clear margins (AKA make sure they get all the cancer) they will have to remove her left ear. The surgery has been scheduled for the beginning of October at a specialty animal hospital, and we are hoping for the support of our friends and family (and anyone else who would like to donate!) to help assist with her surgery expenses. Any amount that you are able to contribute would be deeply appreciated as we prepare for the road ahead of us.
