Eleanor Magdalena Krumm, a sweet, loving, and extraordinary 7-year-old.

Just 14 days ago, Eleanor underwent a routine ear tube placement and adenoid removal. Unfortunately, what they thought would be a simple procedure revealed something much more serious. Along with polyps in her middle ear they also found there to be a malignant tumor, and after further investigation learned she has Stage 3 Rhabdomyosarcoma.

The initial pathology reports indicate this is an aggressive form of cancer, but there is hope. With a 75% survival rate, Eleanor’s prognosis is promising, though the journey will be long and challenging. Over the next 9 months, she will face intense VAC chemotherapy treatments. She will will need to be monitored closely by specialists throughout her treatment to ensure that the severe side effects that her body will endure can be managed. Radiation treatment will then follow. They have chosen to seek treatment at Mayo Clinic in Rochester to ensure she receives the best possible care.

They are struggling with the weight of this news but find strength in their faith and the power of prayer. They need your support now more than ever. Please, talk to God for Eleanor. Plead for her healing and for strength to face the road ahead. They are deeply grateful for the overwhelming love, prayers, and support they have received.
