My name is Eleanore, and I’m preparing for a total hip replacement surgery on October 10th, 2025. I work as a server and bartender while attending school full-time, with just one year left before I earn my bachelor’s degree. My goal is to continue on to a master’s program in speech pathology, but my worsening arthritis and hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome have made it impossible to keep up with work and school without this surgery.

The recovery period will last about six weeks, during which I won’t be able to work. I’m raising funds to cover my rent, groceries, and other essentials while I heal.
