Hello my name is Eleanor Flores my husband Frank, passed on 08/06/2025. He was 68. He got cancer on his tongue 2015, he got surgery which they reconstructed his tongue from skin they removed from his wrist. The Dr assured me that they removed all the cancer, but they wanted Frank to do radiatio0n & Kemo. In 2020 he got his 5yrs clean no cancer but his muscles in his throat got damaged in which he had trouble eating which led to many returns to the hospital. Frank felt that he finally was feeling better on his way to a good recovery. When the worst happened he couldn't breathe, couldn't eat,3 months go by he went from 180lbs to 88lbs .He finally goes to the hospital where we find out that his lungs had clasped, he had a feeding tube inserted was released from the hospital. But the damage had been done. He came home, had numerous Dr appointments they tried to help Frank so that he could eat solid foods again, his breathing was never the same. On the evening of 08/05/2025 Frank woke up after a long nap, he got up saying he wanted to go to the roof, which was a bad idea he wanted to go alone Frank could be very stubborn at times. He goes to the roof was gone 15 minutes, in which I go to bring him back. I see that he was having a hard time I proceed to bring him back I'm talking to him he makes it thru the door of our apartment I look at him cause he's not responding to me. I call 911 paramedics arrive they stable him for transport to cherry hill, as they were putting him in ambulance Frank stops breathing, they tried to get Frank breathing again unfortunately he was pronounced gone on 08/06/2025 at 12:02 AM. He was cremated, were from California I need to get him back home. Any help would be appreciated . I'm leaving for California on the last week of Sept of 2025 making his services hopefully some time in Oct of 2025.
