Urgent Appeal for Assistance

Our Current Situation

We are a married couple, both over the age of 70, navigating the challenges that come with senior citizenship. At this stage of our lives, we do not have children, grandchildren, or extended family to rely on for the support and aid we desperately need.

Health and Financial Challenges

Our well-being has been greatly affected by repeated hospitalizations, which have resulted in forced stays in rehabilitation facilities. Currently, one of us is temporarily located in such a facility. These medical setbacks have made it increasingly difficult for us to make ends meet.

Due to our advanced age and disabilities, we are unable to work and must depend entirely on a fixed income. Our survival is reliant on Social Security, Medicare, and SNAP benefits. This limited financial support is insufficient to meet our basic needs.

The Reality We Face

Our physical limitations and current life circumstances have left us in a dire position. We are struggling to pay for rent, utilities, food, and essential medications. Our debts have accumulated to the point where we owe $7,000 in rent, $5,000 to P.G.& E. for utilities, and we are unable to afford groceries or the prescription medications necessary for our health.

In this stressful and humiliating time of need, we appeal to the mercy and altruism of the American public. We pray for relief and assistance to help us overcome these challenges and regain some stability in our lives.
