Support Elan's Family After Tragic Loss ️

Hello! My name is Maria Mondragon I am a High School student, cousin of Elan Miranda. I am here attempting to raise money for the funerary costs of Elan’s passing the Sunday morning of July 13th 2025 with the permission of my aunt Glenda Chapas, Elan's mother. All money will be given to her as she is the one paying for the funeral. We are so devastated for this loss it is so hard to comprehend.

During the Sunday morning of July 13th 2025 Elan went out to a church camp to get baptized at the Monte rio beach with his girlfriend. After being baptized Elan, his girlfriend and her sister went on a float and it unexpectedly tipped over at around 10 a.m. that day. They were all pulled down the water and did not have a life jackets. Bystanders were left to search for Elan after rescuing his girlfriend and her sister but when the Ambulance showed up the efforts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His death was so shocking and I am so sorry. I cannot believe it is real. This is such a heartbreak for the Oakland community, friends and our family, especially his mom Glenda and any help would be appreciated. Thank you so much.
