E'Lanae and I have been best friends since we met in 7th grade choir, and our friendship has lasted for over 25 years. On December 28th at 10:56, E'Lanae lost her best friend in the whole world—her mom. In E'Lanae’s own words, her mother was the epitome of unconditional love and warmth. The pain of this loss is overwhelming, and she has shared, “I don't know how to do this. It hurts so bad I can't breathe. She was surrounded by so many of our loved ones and so much love. I don't want her to be gone. My beautiful mommy, I love you so much.”
