Support Elaine's Urgent Cranial Surgeries

Hello my name is Jasmine Perez and I’m the mother of 3 children. After a difficult pregnancy and recovery I had my twins Elaine and Luca. When they were born we immediately noticed our daughter Elaine’s head shape was distorted more than normal and she was immediately sent to get checked on by NICU specialists where they had cleared her for the moment.

But we noticed there was no improvement to her skull, so we persisted with doctors and she was finally diagnosed with severe cranial stenosis. Early fusion of the skull sutures in utero of both the bicoronal sutures and a rare lambdoid suture. 3 sutures in total.

After this diagnosis, we were notified that we had to immediately decide on multiple different types of surgeries for her skull sutures, essentially cutting her open and cutting the fused sutures apart so she could properly grow with hopefully no developmental delays. We have had to deal with many difficult decisions regarding her health at only 2 months old. She is now scheduled to have two surgeries to repair the sutures. Including one on Halloween, where we will have to miss the twins first Halloween, and our first Halloween together as a family of 5.

We are hoping to raise funds to help towards medical costs such as surgery, recovery, and appointments. Including any future costs we may have for her medical needs and supporting our family with monthly expenses while we take time off of work to help her recover over the next few weeks after surgery.
